Federal Tire's 595RS-RR Wins US Good Design Awards

Federal Tire is proud to announce that the 595RS-RR UHP tire has won the US Good Design Awards for its refined outlook, exceptional steering, and prolonged endurance.

Founded in 1950, the U.S. Good Design Awards is organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Center for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. Entries for categories, including electronics, transportation, furniture, computer and architecture, are submitted by various firms across the world. The 595RS-RR receives high scores for its aesthetics design and racing performance from several thousand entries out of more than 47 countries.

The superb tread patterns of 595RS-RR UHP tire not only constitute the look of blazing wings, which celebrate the dedication to the inseparable bound between drivers and vehicles, but also symbolize Federal’s everlasting passion for motorsports excellence. These flame-shape grooves also contribute to reduced aquaplaning and increased traction in rainy conditions, which help racers and car enthusiasts stay focused on slippery roads and corners. In addition to its superior grip performance on wet circuits, the tire also delivers maximum traction on dry tracks thanks to its new silica-infused compounds.

" Winning Good Design Awards is testament to our dedication to tire performance and quality. It has taken leadership in design and innovative thinking to execute on the everlasting fire hawk concept and we are very proud that our 595RS-RR has received such global recognition from Good Design. We will continue to improve our product competitiveness through continuous R&D concentration," said Da-Wu Chen, Global Sales and Marketing Director of Federal Tire.
