2016 Federal Tyres King of Europe Wows French Fans at L'Anneau du Rhin Circuit

The second round of the 2016 Federal Tyres King of Europe Drift Series returned to one of the most exciting venues, L'Anneau du Rhin Circuit in France after its impressive debut in 2015. With drift legend and head judge Keiichi Tsuchiya showed up and adjusted last year’s layout for more challenging battles, more than 60 drivers across Europe attended the event, while a total of tremendous 114 drivers competed throughout the weekend.

Whether for both practice sessions and racing rounds, all rivers excelled themselves to impress the Drift King, Tsuchiya and fans. After rounds and rounds of incredibly close battles and splendid drift skills from drivers, it was Joe Hountondji who took his first victory of the 2016 season while Remmo Niezen nabbed the second place. Continuing his winning streaks, Alois Pamper secured his back-to-back podium finish.

"Federal Tyres is proud to be part of the round at L'Anneau du Rhin Circuit again and seeing its continuous growth and popularity. We are very pleased to showcase our best-of-breed tyres for street and racing performance to even wider fans in France,” said Da-Wu Chen, Sales and Marketing Director of Federal Tyres.

The next round of 2016 Federal Tyres King of Nations will head to Japan with two of the most eagerly anticipated races of the season at Ebisu and Nikko Circuit.
