Federal Tyres King of Europe Racers Battle through Mixed Weather at Greinbach, Austria

Federal Tyres King of Europe returned to the extremely challenging PS Racing Center Greinbach in Austria for fourth consecutive year. Competitors travelled from as far as Australia and Japan, with a total of 18 countries overall, to face Europe's best drivers.

Being the only track to have been used for the past four consecutive seasons, it became a legendary circuit in the series. Notorious for its extremely fast and long initial bend which followed with tight, technical corners, the circuit posed the ultimate challenge to all participating drivers.

Despite sunny sky got underway during practice, the weather quickly turned worse with mixed rain in the Top 32 battles. Refusing to let the rain and track sunken their spirits, all drivers perfected their best possible laps to beat the weather. Eventually, it was Adam Kerenyi nabbing his first win of the 2016 season while Remmo Niezen and Joe Hountondji took the second and third place respectfully.

"Federal Tyres is proud to be part of the event and seeing its continuous growth and popularity while showcasing our best-of-breed tyres for street and racing performance to tame the Austrian racetrack,” said Da-Wu Chen, Sales and Marketing Director of Federal Tyres.

The next round of 2016 Federal Tyres King of Europe will head to Lydden Hill, UK on August 6 and 7.
