Tyre-smoking Frenzy Wows Fans at Federal Tyres King of Europe's UK Round

The 2016 Federal Tyres King of Europe is officially halfway with the fourth round at UK's Lydden Hill Circuit. With less than 50 points separating the Top 4 drivers in current series standings, the race for the 2016 season crown just got fiercer than ever.

After previous rounds of mixed weather and damp tracks, the series finally saw some sunshine and tyre smoke at UK's Lydden Hill Circuit. As fans enjoyed the sunshine ahead of the race, drivers from the Federal Tyres King of Europe series also provided excitement and entertainment to the crowd with fancy skills and jaw-dropping drifting moves.

Racers bested impressive scores as perfect weather conditions continued throughout the Top 32 battles. After rounds and rounds of cutting-throat battles and splendid skills from leading drivers, it was Norbert Kovacik who took his first victory of the 2016 season. Remmo Niezen's impressive consistency continued throughout the season, which handed him the second place of the podium while Andras Molnar took the third place.

"Federal Tyres is proud to be part of the round at Lydden Hill Circuit again and seeing drift's continuous growth and popularity. We are very pleased to showcase our best-of-breed tyres for street and racing performance to even wider fans in the UK,” said Da-Wu Chen, Sales and Marketing Director of Federal Tyres.

The second half of 2016 Federal Tyres King of Europe series began at Lignières, Switzerland on August 13 and 14.
