The final round of the Drift Australia championship for 2008 at Oran Park Speedway on September 20th-21st saw Federal Tires slid all the way to success with a fruitful upshot. We were in for a strong finish to the season where incredibility and amazement happened. The podium was filled with a plethora of phenoms and some positive achievements have already been collected to our bags – Khudar Elhaouli, Tom Monkhouse, Eugene Arendsen and Nathan Weissel – who came to outfit Federal brand within the entire action-packed schedule of the championship have all proved “unrivalled” and were in good position to end the year at the “pointed end of the field”.
Another highlight of the 2008 season for Federal Tyres has been the team drift competition. With Nathan Weissel, Trent Whyte and Eugene Arendsen together demonstrating high speed performance within inches of each other that has formed what turned out to be a perfect sensation at Eastern Creek as well as Oran Park Raceway for motorsports aficionados from all over the country. We are proud to acknowledge everyone in Team Federal Tyres with their efforts and accomplishment secured today, which said everything about how well our product really performed.
