Drifting is one of the fastest growing motorsports in North America and Matt Waldin is showing his great promise. In hope of reaching an exciting demographic of motorsports fans, Federal Tires has become more involved in 2012 season to back Matt Wladin and his team with a full-season sponsorship, as he will battle for podium supremacy in the highly popular race events such as Formula Drift U.S.A, Drift Mania Canadian Championship (DMCC), and Xtreme Drift Circuit.

As the owner of Import Intelligence, Matt Waldin and his employees build performance vehicles for car enthusiasts on the east coast. This serious competitor in any drift event from Pennsylvanian has been working diligently with over 10 years of racing experience. Matt is an accomplished professional drift racer, and you will not find a driver with more passion for the sport than him. With licenses in every North American professional drifting series, Mr. Waldin, 31, has many stellar racing highlights in his career. He is a two time Drift Mania Canadian Championship (DMCC) series champion in a back to back season of 2009 and 2010. Over the years, Matt has grown from a talented amateur privateer to a seasoned veteran in the drift community. He is not only a decorated competitor in drifting, but he also has a large fan base and the ability to generate crowd enthusiasm.

In the meantime, he will work closely with Federal Tires to develop a virtual marketing campaign of every event he attends including video, social media and e-mailing followed a very demanding 2011 schedule.
