As Thailand’s largest motor sport event, King’s Cup Trophy The 27th International Rally of Thailand 2014 taking place this 5-7 Dec. at Lopburi-Phetchabun provinces ended on a high note with Federal Tyres, the motorsport partners of Natthaphon Angritthanon and Visut Sukosi, offering technique support and tyres-Federally G-10 to the duet and they achieved the 3rd place overall and being the 1st among Thai racers.
Powered by Auto Racing Magazine since 1989, the International Rally of Thailand has made itself the leading rallies in the Asia-Pacific Region, attracting famous off-road enthusiasts from all over the world. This year, lots of entries from Japan, New Zealand and Thailand presented dramatic races on difficult routes covered with hard gravel and tarmac and challenging their driving techniques and tyre performances. Total distance of the Lopburi-Phetchabun racing track is 589.77 kms, including 13 special stages (204.54 km) and liaison section (385.23km).
Natthaphon Angritthanon, who has become an off-road enthusiast since 13, and his co-driver, Visut Sukosi, who owns over-30-year top-notch experiences in motorsports, noticed the best-in-class performance Federal Motorsports(FMS) lineups have delivered and became Federal’s marketing partners. The two professional racers conquered the rough tracks with Federally G-10. 8 special stages were competed, including 3 Tarmac stage and 5 gravel stages. Engine overheating problem occurred though, the duet kept the position and finished the track, taking the 3rd place in the overall contest and becoming the 1st among Thai racers. Visut Sukosi commented” Our car did very well with Federally G-10. It made the vehicle easy to drive and attack at the corners and on any kind of gravel roads or Tarmac. Also, Federally G-10 features very strong sidewall and grip performance.”
